The company manages projects end to end, including concept, architecture, bring-up, integration, delivery, and mass production for multiple customers simultaneously.
The Tech Lead will be the technical owner of projects, specifying and architecting systems across hardware and firmware.
Responsibilities include leading a development team of 3-5 engineers per project, writing sprints, conducting design and code reviews, owning hardware DFM, and solving complex technical problems.
A project manager handles customer relationships and scheduling while the Tech Lead leads technical discussions with customers.

The focus is on engineering and system delivery rather than meetings.
Key Responsibilities
Translate customer needs into system specifications and engineering requirements.
Define architecture, interfaces, constraints, and verification strategies across hardware and firmware.
Own the hardware/firmware system interfaces and coordinate between electronics and firmware teams.
Provide technical leadership by establishing best practices, coding standards, documentation quality, and engineering processes.
Mentor and coach engineers through hands-on guidance, design reviews, and technical training.
Lead firmware code reviews (C/C++) ensuring maintainability, testability, and reliability.
Define complex hardware systems with system block diagrams, mentor hardware engineers, support bring-up and system fixes.
Integrate regulatory and compliance requirements into design and verification processes.
Lead technical discussions with customers, align on requirements, provide status updates, manage risks, and support field issues as needed.
Requirements
Minimum 5 years of expertise in both firmware and hardware; approximately 15 years of technical experience preferred but strong candidates with fewer years will be considered.
Ability to specify and engineer systems at the hardware and firmware level, mentoring engineers in both disciplines; hardware background preferred.
At least 3 years of leadership/management experience leading teams of 3-5 engineers.
At least 3 years of customer-facing engineering experience.
Proven track record of delivering working systems into mass production.
Background in medical regulated domains.
Demonstrated ability to integrate AI into daily engineering workflows.
High proficiency in English (written and verbal).
Advantages
Experience in project-based companies, design houses, consultancies, or as a freelancer with ownership of product delivery.
Experience developing multi-board projects and cables using Altium (preferred but not mandatory).
Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering, Practical Electronics Engineering, or Computer Science.
Familiarity with embedded communication protocols such as CAN, RS-485/RS-422, I2C, SPI, UART, BLE/Wi-Fi.
Experience with common MCUs including Raspberry Pi, Microchip, Nordic, STM, ESP32.
Experience with Zephyr RTOS-based embedded systems.
Personal interest in electronics projects, home labs, or building own solutions.
